BCS TITLE GAME REMATCH

Since last night my Facebook page, and text messages have been full of people talking about the REMATCH of LSU vs. ALABAMA for the BCS National Title Game. I dont understand why everyone is so upset. I am the first one to agree that the way college football is setup is ridiculous. The fact there is no playoff is completely stupid, I agree!!! BUT this year they got it right. Most people (non SEC fans) are up in arms that Oklahoma State is not playing vs. LSU for the title. I usually think that the BCS busts on the bowl games but not this year (at least for the championship game) and heres why. Alabama plays in the SEC West the toughest division of any conference hands down this year. I can say this because the teams that stand out from this conference are LSU, ALABAMA, ARKANSAS all now and at some point rated in the top 10! LSU went undefeated with its only real contest played against ALABAMA. Oh yeah by the way the National Champion has been from the SEC the last 5 years in a row!

Now Oklahoma State lost to Iowa State. That is why they are not in the game. Yes they blew out a lackluster Oklahoma game for there to be controversy but in the end who cares??? Face facts Oklahoma was well overrated this year and had some big upset losses that they cannot afford. Oklahoma State lost to IOWA STATE! ALABAMAs only loss was to LSu by 3 points. Oklahoma State lost to IOWA STATE! (If you havnt noticed the trend I am simply pointing out the fact that Ok St. lost to a team that I believe my defending state champion high school football team could beat.) To be National Champs you have to beat the best and not lose to a team that was supposed to be a cupcake on your schedule! This is how it is! You dont get mulligans. Some may say that Alabama is getting a mulligan by playing in the title game again. I personally disagree, in fact I really very much so disagree! Alabama leads the nation in something like 5 categories and lost to LSU by 3 points in their regular season contest! LSU blew out Georgia in the SEC Championship game 42-10 and only really played in the 2nd half! they blew out Arkansas, Oregon, and any other team you can think of. LSU played the toughest schedule (by far) in the nation and the only way you would know that is by looking at the ALABAMA game score. Every other game was not a contest. I want to see a game that LSU gets pushed back, and punched in the mouth. I want to see a game that is a TITLE GAME not a well maybe it can happen. FACT IS OKLAHOMA STATE CANNOT BEAT LSU!!! Alabama can!!!!

If your not an SEC fan I get it your sick of the conference winning. Hers what you have to do to beat them PUT A BETTER TEAM TOGETHER! If you say its because they pay the players guess what your team does too! (Yes, Notre Dame,you are included in my rant.) Look at Ohio Stae they played in title games several times within the last 5 10 years and everyone thinks that they are a juggernaut. End result BLOW OUTS!!! I suppose maybe you think Stanford would have a chance. If this is the case please refrain from telling others you know football because you are a moron. OKLAHOMA STATE LOST TO IOWA STATE! If you thought the first game was boring due to the lack of scoring then you like a different brand of football. One where there is no defense and trick plays. If this is what you want watch the MAC conference games you would have seen plenty. Until other conferences can compete with the SEC I dont want to hear the whining any more. This is the best game college football has to offer.
